Bablu’s first month was a blur of fast action or so it seems now. The little one took up the entire families attention to the exclusion of everything else. Padmaja was on maternity leave and still recovering from the caesarian section. Mamli had tests before the end of her UKG at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School. Come June she would start class 1 at the same school. A major step and one that would bring a large increase in workload for her.
My in-laws came over in the end of March after my parents left. Grand parent support is too precious a resource to waste by overlapping availability 
My mother-in-law stayed behind in Hyderabad to help with the baby.
