The fun things we have done as a family? Well many different things actually. From flying kites from the roof top of Mathew & Ravi’s apartment complex on Sankranti, Go Carting in Runway 9 to running around in the city parks.
A city like Hyderabad offers only limited opportunities to have fun for a family with small kids. Things have improved since the late 1990s and early 2000s. Now in the late 2000s we have many options to have fun in Hyderabad. Some of things we enjoyed are:
- Flying Kites on Sankranti
- Go Carting in Runway 9
- Fun & Dinner at Dola Ri Dhani
- Light & Sound Show at Golconda
- Picnics in resorts around Hyderabad – Dream Valley, Pragathi Resorts
- Bowling at Alleygator, Navketan Complex Basement, Secunderabad
- Movies at Prasad’s IMAX (NTR Marg), PVR Cinemas (Central Mall, Panjautta) & Inox (GKV One Mall, Banjara Hills, Road No. 1)
I am not including the malls and restaurants of Hyderabad in this list. They deserve their own, particularly the restaurants. Well, all of us in the Satpathy family are foodies. So separate list for Restaurants
